I'm super excited for my brother to be racing this year!! This year the track gave him 14 races for his division!! The car needs some work done to it. Hopefully she will be done by March. There is a practice sessions for everyone in March.

Update and Just Random Thoughts

So I logged onto my blog. And found some comments. Thank you all for that. I accidentally deleted one. I'm sorry Jenn. I didn't mean it. After all these years of running my blog you think I'd know how to undelete a comment. But nope....  warms my heart when I see comments. It really does. I still feel like a newbie.


2018 has been an interesting year already. I just hope the remainder will be better. My birthday is coming up. Ehhh.... I am always two ways about my birthday. I'm either happy about it or sad. This year I'm both. I lost my Nana two days after my 13th birthday back in 2000. So I basically started hating it ever since. I just want to hide until the day is over.

My Review:
This final conclusion to the Black Mage series was one heck of a roller coaster. I wasn't sure what Rachel up her sleeves for Darren and Ryiah and the gang. I didn't expect all that takes place. Oh my heart is sad to have finished this series. No more from this world and its characters.

My Review:
We pick up where we left Darren and Ryiah in Apprentice. This was a crazy but fun ride. I loved the scene between Priscilla and Ryiah. I'm looking forward to reading the conclusion to the series The Last Stand. There is alot of things taken place in book 3. Definitely a great continuation of the series.

My Review:

I received a ebook ARC copy from the author exchange for an honest review. Having loved The Black Mage:First Year. I was eagerly awaiting the sequel. And it did not disappoint. From the first page to the last you're kept on your toes. Ryiah, Alex, Ella and Darren go through many changes. I was a bit upset with Prince Darren. If you've read the book you'll know why. But he shocked me there at the last few pages. I'm even more excited for the next installment to the series. If I could I'd give this a million stars!!!! But alas Goodreads only has 5. So that's my rating 5/5 stars!!! Pick up this series. If you love young adult fantasy, kick ads female heroines. Happy Reading, Ashley P.S. Rachel, thank you so much for allowing me to read and review your work again!!! You scared me with Darren. Can I have book three now, please? This review was from 2015. I still stand by my review. I did reread the Apprentice in December 2017.

Happy New Year!!!

Another year is upon us. 2018 is already being another year of crazy stuff. So much for calmer waters.lol. Oh life never gets boring that is for sure. I hope your guys 2018 is going much smoother than mine. Have you set up a Goodreads Reading Challenge for the year? What is your number? I'm sticking to not doing one.

I am currently reading The Last Stand by Rachel E. Carter. The final book in her The Black Mage series. I am nervous to see how it all ends.Not sure what my next read will be after that. I do have one book for review from Netgalley that is set to be released next month. And a review book from Blogging For Books I need to read. Whatever I decide I will share with you all.
