Friday Reads #1

These posts will be up on Fridays telling of my plans for the weekend. As well as the book or books I am currently reading or hoping to get to over the weekend.

Right now for the first ever Friday Reads post. I decided I wanted to finish up The Castor Chronicles by Kami Garcia and Margaret Stohl. I am rereading book one Beautiful Creatures.I first read this book back in 2013. I'm only on page 61 out of 563.

Guess we will see how far I get or if I finish it on my Reading Wrap Up post on Monday or Tuesday.

I don't have any other plans other then the usual house cleaning and taking care of the furbabies.


So hopefully I can read a lot over the weekend.

My Review:
I did receive an ebook ARC of Up In Smoke by T.M. Frazier exchange for an honest review. I have read all seven previous novels in the King series. So I was super stoked to get my hands on this bad boy. I fell in love with Smoke and Frankie. Their heart breaking pasts and how they grow into something together was wonderful to read. I was glued from the very first word until the very end. I am sadden to have read it so fast. 

This book was everything I've come to love from T.M. Frazier. Smoke and Frankie are quite the duo. I loved reading about each of their backgrounds. Seeing Smoke bond with Bear,King, and Preppy. Made my heart all warm inside. I adored this book just as much as all of Tracey's books. Words won't ever give justice for how much I love this book!!! I am so glad to have been given an ebook ARC of Up In Smoke. Tracey thank you for another amazing male and female main characters. This was one crazy ride. 

5/5 stars... I'd give a billion if I could!!!

Reading Wrap Up #2

I know I should've posted this yesterday. But it slipped my mind. I finished rereading Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets by J.K. Rowling on Saturday afternoon. Oh I love revisiting Harry and Hogwarts. It feels like hugging an old friend. I continue on reading on my kindle I Only Have Eyes For You by Bella Andre. That book was so cute and sweet. I loved Bella's books.

I decided to pick up The Unwelcomed Child by V.C. Andrews its alright so far. I'm really not liking the main characters grandparents. But I guess you aren't supposed to like them. Not sure what I will pick up after finishing it.

I spent some time on Saturday night with my family. It  was a good time. Although I sometimes feel misunderstood by them. I'm sure everyone feels that way at times with their family. Right?

Excerpt:

“All these bruises,” Smoke muses. “And not one of them caused by me.” He trails a hand up my arms and down my flat stomach. “Pity, but I still have time to leave my mark on you yet.”  

My entire body stiffens. I’m as rigid as a corpse. 

Smoke chuckles and I’m glad I’m facing away because his laugh is pure torture, causing his erection to vibrate against my folds which are aching for more contact. 

“You will be punished, hellion. You can be sure of that.” 

I look over my shoulder and meet his dark eyes which darken even further as his pupils dilate. His lingering gaze rakes me over from my feet to my breasts and back down to the space between my thighs. He licks his full bottom lip. 

My stomach flips. My will to fight him off doesn’t waiver, but my body isn’t getting the message. My core clenches again. I turn back around to face the tile, digging my teeth into my lower lip until I taste my own blood.

Reading Wrap Up

I did finish the bind up of The Game Plan and Double Dare by R.L. Mathewson as well as finishing Up In Smoke by T.M. Frazier. I loved everything I read over the weekend and into the beginning of this week. I'm currently rereading Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets by J.K. Rowling. After watching some of LeahMouse's vlogs on Youtube with her Harry Potter adventures. I was craving rereading the series. I did reread the first book last year. The Ravenclaw edition!!

I did watch the Super Bowl. And I am beyond happy that my team won!!!! This was years in the making for them. I saw it happening in my mind. I just didn't want to jinx it out loud. Now for them to rest up and ready for next season!! I've been a fan since 2012.


I will be posting on February 8th an excerpt reveal of Up In Smoke by T.M. Frazier. If you are looking forward to that release you should check the post out.

My review will be posted on February 19th. I loved that book. Can't wait for more from Tracey in the future.....

Currently Reading and Weekend Plans

I'm currently reading the bind up of Double Dare and The Game Plan by R.L. Mathewson. I'm 38% into and loving it. I needed this book!! I'm laughing and smiling. Hoping to finish it by Sunday. I will be getting an ebook ARC of Up In Smoke by T.M. Frazier. Super excited to read it!!!

As for my other plans for the weekend. My boys the Philadelphia Eagles are in the Super Bowl!!! I am so proud of them!!! I can see the outcome in my mind. And I am keeping it there!!!
