"It’s been so long since Auden slept at night. Ever since her parents’ divorce—or since the fighting started. Now she has the chance to spend a carefree summer with her dad and his new family in the charming beach town where they live.
A job in a clothes boutique introduces Auden to the world of girls: their talk, their friendship, their crushes. She missed out on all that, too busy being the perfect daughter to her demanding mother. Then she meets Eli, an intriguing loner and a fellow insomniac who becomes her guide to the nocturnal world of the town. Together they embark on parallel quests: for Auden, to experience the carefree teenage life she’s been denied; for Eli, to come to terms with the guilt he feels for the death of a friend."

My Thoughts:
Auden is a recent high school graduate, going on a summer vacation to spend time with her father, new step-mother and half-sister. Although at first she isn't fond of being around Heidi, her father, and her half-sister. She begins to fall in love with the little town, the friends she makes along the way.And even her step-mother. She discovers it isn't too late for a second chance. So get on the bike and ride. If you fall off get back on. No matter the scraps, bruises and cuts you get.I loved this book!! I also loved the beachy vibe to this book. Perfect for summer time reading or in the winter when you're craving a warm, light summery read!!

Let It Snow:Three Holiday Romances by John Green, Maureen Johnson, and Lauren Myracle

"The weather outside is frightful, but these stories are delightful! When a huge blizzard (that doesn't show signs of stopping) hits, Gracetown is completely snowed in. But even though it's cold outside, things are heating up inside, proving that the holiday season is magical when it comes to love. In three wonderfully (and hilariously!) interconnected tales, YA stars John Green, Lauren Myracle, and Maureen Johnson create a must-have collection that captures all the spirit of the holiday season."
-Information from Goodreads.com
My Thoughts:
I loved how the stories were all connected. But were able to hold up on their own. This is my second of reading a story by each of the authors John Green, Maureen Johnson and Lauren Myracle. I have to say I love their writing styles. I will be getting my hands on more of their books for sure.
If you are looking for a funny light wintery read then look no further than Let It Snow: Three Holiday Romances. There the element of the holidays and romance with adventure, humor, and overcoming fears that held the characters back.
