Another edition of When I'm Not Reading. I wrote a song a few days ago and would like to share it with you all.

I write them few and far in between these days. I miss when I wrote fiercely. Oh teenage years... I think alot of what inspired me back then has faded away. Trying to get back into the swing of writing songs. I hope you enjoyed this one! It was just something that popped into my head.

I believe I made a post about this in the past. I write song lyrics from time to time. Well last night while listening to Taylor Swift's new album Reputation. There was this one song I kept replaying So It Goes... Also thinking about someone. I wrote a song... Here it is....

I hope you like my song. I've been writing them since 2001 ish. I had to write a poem in my 8th grade in English class. And that is how it began. I discovered I could voice my thoughts through songs. I have more posted on fictionpress.com . I will try and share more whenever I write them. My inspiration isn't what it used to be.

When I'm Not Reading # 3
A look into what I do when I'm not reading.

I wanted to share with you all what my family and I do on the weekends. As I've mentioned in my Back Again post. My brother races at a local dirt track, Selinsgrove Speedway. I wanted to share some pictures of his car and my family at the track. It is scary seeing him out there racing with the other cars. I know it is something he's always wanted to do. He is getting better with each race. He started late last year 2016. He's been in 3 wrecks. He was okay, the car needed some work done to it.





If you've ever gone to a race you know it is crazy. The excitement from seeing the cars on the track. Hoping the guy you are cheering on can win. It feels different when it is someone you know. A family member. Every time my brother is out there I say a little prayer for him to be safe. I also think back to when we were kids and he was obsessed with playing this Nascar computer game that can with a steering wheel. He'd play that game for hours.

This is from when he first started last year. Duck tape number and letter. The trailer you see behind it was borrowed from a friend of his.

 This was last year. Waiting for him to go out onto the track. In the photo is my brother, sister in law, and Dad.

When I'm Not Reading is a weekly meme hosted by The Unread Reader. Allows us bloggers to share what we're are doing when not consuming ourselves with our books.

This week I thought I'd share my songwriting ability. I've been writing songs since 2001. I've roughly have written over 500 songs since then. I only write the lyrics, sadly I don't know how to put it to actual music. For me writing these songs are my way of getting things off my chest or just speaking on subjects I wouldn't say to someone.
