"To save her mother's life, Clary must travel to the City of Glass, the ancestral home of the Shadowhunters -- never mind that enter-ing the city without permission is against the Law, and breaking the Law could mean death. To make things worse, she learns that Jace does not want her there, and Simon has been thrown in prison by the Shadowhunters, who are deeply suspicious of a vampire who can withstand sunlight. As Clary uncovers more about her family's past, she finds an ally in mysterious Shadow-hunter Sebastian. With Valentine mustering the full force of his power to destroy all Shadow-hunters forever, their only chance to defeat him is to fight alongside their eternal enemies. But can Downworlders and Shadowhunters put aside their hatred to work together? While Jace realizes exactly how much he's willing to risk for Clary, can she harness her newfound powers to help save the Glass City -- whatever the cost?
Love is a mortal sin and the secrets of the past prove deadly as Clary and Jace face down Valentine in the final installment of the New York Times bestselling trilogy The Mortal Instruments."

My Thoughts:
How do I put into words my thoughts on City Of Glass by Cassandra Clare? I do not want to give anything away. What I can say is I was hooked into this book from the start. I found myself thinking of it when I wasn't reading it. That doesn't happen to me very often. I truly loved the world Cassandra has created in this series. Why it took me so long to get hooked into this series is beyond me...
If you like a series with action, romance, and just plain old awesomeness. Then this is the series for you. Where the good guys win against the bad guys!! I'm still in shock from what occurred in City Of Glass. I am going to get my hands on City Of Fallen Angels very soon!!
5/5 stars, Happy Reading, Ashley *Seriously go out and get this series NOW*

City Of Ashes by Cassandra Clare
City Of Ashes by Cassandra Clare
Released: March 25th 2008
Publisher: Simon& Schuster Children's Publishing
Series: The Mortal Instruments, Book Two
Page Amount: 464
"Clary Fray just wishes that her life would go back to normal. But what's normal when you're a demon-slaying Shadowhunter, your mother is in a magically induced coma, and you can suddenly see Downworlders like werewolves, vampires, and faeries? If Clary left the world of the Shadowhunters behind, it would mean more time with her best friend, Simon, who's becoming more than a friend. But the Shadowhunting world isn't ready to let her go — especially her handsome, infuriating, newfound brother, Jace. And Clary's only chance to help her mother is to track down rogue Shadowhunter Valentine, who is probably insane, certainly evil — and also her father.
To complicate matters, someone in New York City is murdering Downworlder children. Is Valentine behind the killings — and if he is, what is he trying to do? When the second of the Mortal Instruments, the Soul-Sword, is stolen, the terrifying Inquisitor arrives to investigate and zooms right in on Jace. How can Clary stop Valentine if Jace is willing to betray everything he believes in to help their father?
In this breathtaking sequel to City of Bones, Cassandra Clare lures her readers back into the dark grip of New York City's Downworld, where love is never safe and power becomes the deadliest temptation."

My Thoughts:
City Of Ashes is the smashing sequel to City Of Bones. I thought the series couldn't get any better and I was proven wrong. City Of Ashes had many twists and turns throughout the story. At one point I wasn't sure how it was going to end and what would become of the characters. I definitely wanted to smack Valentine around.I loved every minute of this book!! Cassandra isn't afraid of risking her characters lives.
This is a fabulous read, you should definitely check out this series.

Zombies Vs. Unicorns by Holly Black and Justine Larbalestier
Zombies Vs. Unicorns edited by Holly Black and Justine Larbalestier
Released: September 21st 2010
Publisher: Margaret K. McElderry
Page Amount: 415, US Hardcover Edition
"It's a question as old as time itself: which is better, the zombie or the unicorn? In this anthology, edited by Holly Black and Justine Larbalestier (unicorn and zombie, respectively), strong arguments are made for both sides in the form of short stories. Half of the stories portray the strengths—for good and evil—of unicorns and half show the good (and really, really bad-ass) side of zombies. Contributors include many bestselling teen authors, including Cassandra Clare, Libba Bray, Maureen Johnson, Meg Cabot, Scott Westerfeld, and Margo Lanagan. This anthology will have everyone asking: Team Zombie or Team Unicorn?"
-Information from Goodreads.com
My Thoughts:
This amazing anthology filled with zombies and unicorns stories. Is to battle the ending question Zombies or Unicorns, which is better? After reading this I am totally Team Unicorn!! With adding this I did enjoy the stories on both of the creatures. Anyone loving zombies or unicorns should definitely add this book to your collection. There's action, and romance. Plus killer unicorns, some brain eating zombies... what more could you want? I also love the editing thoughts from Holly and Justine before each story.
If you haven't yet go out and get this book!! I love the cover!!

Publisher: Speak
Series: Sweep Series, #10-12

*Do not continue reading the following blurb or review for it may contain spoilers. Unless you've read Sweep Volumes 1-3*
"The fourth Sweep collection! Morgan Rowlands had thought her foes were defeated, but demons from the past still haunt her and her beloved, Hunter. Their magick is strong, but the darkness that torments them threatens to overwhelm even their love. Yet there is another, whose magick could save, or could destroy. And caught in the middle of the darkness and light, Morgan realizes that only together can they face the danger that threatens to destroy not just her soul mate, but everything and everyone she loves. For the dark wave is coming . . . and it is unstoppable."-Information from Goodreads.com
My Thoughts:
Continuing on with the story line from the previous volumes in the series. Hunter, Morgan and Alisa each go through challenges. They come together to fight the dark wave. Hunter finds somethings out about the council and makes a decision about his future. Morgan faces the choice of being good or crossing over to the evil side. I truly love this series. The characters have come along way.
You seriously need to get out this series. I don't think it gets the spotlight it deserves.
