My Thoughts:
Ties To The Blood Moon by Robin P. Waldrop

This isn’t your typical story on vampires and werewolves. In Ties To The Blood Moon,  Genevieve thought she was just your average teenage girl. However after the loss of her mother. She moves to middle of no where Alaska to live with her Aunt Bev. Things quickly start to become weird. Genevieve learns she’s a werewolf , an Adlet werewolf princess.

Genevieve learns her destiny is to kill Zane and rule the vampires and werewolves. To ensure mankind’s safety. Although she is unsure of being able to kill Zane and save everyone. She is willing to do whatever it takes.

There is a lot of twists and turns throughout the story line. Just when you think you know how its going to be Robin changes everything. I found myself with my mouth hanging open with each new shocking change.

I wanted to hit William from time to time. He truly gives Edward Cullen a run for his money. Genevieve is a strong willed female character.

I loved Ties To The Blood Moon, yes there were some aspects that reminded me of Twilight. But Ties To The Blood Moon held up on its own.

If you’re looking for a paranormal romance, with elementals of vampires and werewolves. Then consider this you’re next read! You will be on one heck of a ride!!

I cannot wait for the sequel. Reading the sample for Chapter One has me needing the sequel NOW!!

5/5 stars, Happy Reading, Ashley

And even though she could live for a long time (whatever that means), Hazel lives tethered to an oxygen tank, the tumours tenuously kept at bay with a constant chemical assault.

Enter Augustus Waters. A match made at cancer kid support group, Augustus is gorgeous, in remission, and shockingly to her, interested in Hazel. Being with Augustus is both an unexpected destination and a long-needed journey, pushing Hazel to re-examine how sickness and health, life and death, will define her and the legacy that everyone leaves behind."

-Information from Goodreads.com

My Thoughts:
I didn't get really emotional with this one. As everyone else seemed to have. I did enjoy it. Being my first ever John Green novel. I can see why so many love him. Hazel is truly an remarkable character. I found myself hoping she would be ok. I felt her loss after Augustus's death. (spoiler?). I wish to learn what becomes of her. Does her cancer claim her body as well?

I would definitely be picking up more of John Green's books in the future. This book has the perfect balance of humor, sadness, and romance thrown together. In a way I feel on John could of done.

5/5 stars for sure, Happy Reading!!

P.S. If anyone has read this book. Do you know if the books mention In The Fault In Our Stars is real?

Publisher: HarperTeen
Series: The Body Finder, Book One
Page Amount: 327 US Hardcover Edition
Source: Library
Purchase: Amazon/BarnesandNoble

"Violet Ambrose is grappling with two major issues: Jay Heaton and her morbid secret ability. While the sixteen-year-old is confused by her new feelings for her best friend since childhood, she is more disturbed by her "power" to sense dead bodies—or at least those that have been murdered. Since she was a little girl, she has felt the echoes that the dead leave behind in the world... and the imprints that attach to their killers.

Violet has never considered her strange talent to be a gift; it mostly just led her to find the dead birds her cat had tired of playing with. But now that a serial killer has begun terrorizing her small town, and the echoes of the local girls he's claimed haunt her daily, she realizes she might be the only person who can stop him.

Despite his fierce protectiveness over her, Jay reluctantly agrees to help Violet on her quest to find the murderer—and Violet is unnerved to find herself hoping that Jay's intentions are much more than friendly. But even as she's falling intensely in love, Violet is getting closer and closer to discovering a killer... and becoming his prey herself."

-Information from Goodreads.com

My Thoughts:
I've never read a murder mystery before. The Body Finder is about this teenage girl named Violet. She has the ability to hear/see the echo of an animal that has died. When she is eight years old she finds the body of a little girl. Years later she finds more bodies. She tries to find the killer. Among dealing with try to find the killer, Violet is also dealing with the new found feelings she has for her life long friend Jay.

With the twists and turns Kimberly had throughout the novel. I didn't know how it was going to end. I loved it! I am looking forward to reading the rest of the series.

For those of you who love mystery, murder and some romance books. Then you should check out this series!!

5/5 stars, Happy Reading, Ashley

I do accept ARC’s for review as well as finished copies. I will expect a physical copy of a book or and PDF.e-book for review. I also will participate in weekly meme's, and would like to participate in blog tours, author interviews, and giveaways.

Types Of Genres I Read:
I mainly read Young Adult fiction. However I do enjoy Adult fiction as well. Historical fiction, dystopian fiction, sci-fi, fantasy. I wouldn’t mind reviewing a children’s novel or middle grade fiction. Feel free to ask about a genre if its not list above.

Review Period Time:
I try to read and review the books before they come out. If you do send me an Advanced Readers Copy the review will be posted a week before the book comes out. Or shortly after the books release date. So to generate buzz for readers to go out and get the book. If you send me a finished copy of the book it will be read and review shortly after its release date. I don’t offer any guarantees that if I receive an ARC/finished copy that I will read and review it.

Other review issues:
A video and written review will be done for every book I receive for review. This means the review will be seen through blogspot and you tube traffic. If you wish for a link to the review let me know. I also will post a review on my Goodreads account as well.
I will be honest with my thoughts on the book. If I do not like the book I will give my reasons. If I love the book I will back it up with my reasons.

Disclosure:
I do not receive any money compensation for my reviews. However on occasions the book I am reviewing is offered to me as thanks for doing the review.

Thank you for taking the time to go over my policy. I look forward to working with you.
