Catching Up

I'm slowly catching up on the books I haven't posted a review for. There are some I don't think I'll post a review for. However if in any of my Wrap Ups for the year there is a title you'd like to see a review for please let me know.

I'd love to hear your input. Thank you for reading my reviews and anything else I post on this blog. I know I'm not the most dedicated blogger. I know in the past I've promised to do better and fallen flat. I still feel so unsure of my blog and reviews. I don't think I'm the best at this. But I do want to do better in the future.

Again I'd love to hear your input. Please leave me a comment. You can email me at booksarediamonds@yahoo.com if that would be easier.

Happy Reading, Ashley.

My Thoughts:
How do I begin my review? This was amazing and just I can't even form words right now. All I can is Sarah you did it again. I loved everything about Heir of Fire.

I'm in desperate need for Queen of Shadows. Can I have the book now?

I know my review is short. But it's so hard reviewing a third book in a series without giving everything away. If you loved the first and second books in this series. You must read this installment.
5/5 stars Happy Reading, Ashley.

Crown of Midnight by Sarah J. Maas

Crown of Midnight by Sarah J. Maas

Publisher: Bloomsbury USA Children
Series: Throne of Glass, Book Two
Page Amount: 418, US hardcover edition

"A line that should never be crossed is about to be breached.

It puts this entire castle in jeopardy—and the life of your friend."

From the throne of glass rules a king with a fist of iron and a soul as black as pitch. Assassin Celaena Sardothien won a brutal contest to become his Champion. Yet Celaena is far from loyal to the crown. She hides her secret vigilantly; she knows that the man she serves is bent on evil.

Keeping up the deadly charade becomes increasingly difficult when Celaena realizes she is not the only one seeking justice. As she tries to untangle the mysteries buried deep within the glass castle, her closest relationships suffer. It seems no one is above questioning her allegiances—not the Crown Prince Dorian; not Chaol, the Captain of the Guard; not even her best friend, Nehemia, a foreign princess with a rebel heart.

Then one terrible night, the secrets they have all been keeping lead to an unspeakable tragedy. As Celaena's world shatters, she will be forced to give up the very thing most precious to her and decide once and for all where her true loyalties lie... and whom she is ultimately willing to fight for. My Thoughts:
How do I began on my love for this book? Throne of Glass was amazing so how the sequel even better? Crown of Midnight blew my mind and the ending makes me crave Heir of Fire NOW!!!!

Although I sorta had a guess about something in regards to Celesana. I am even more enchanted by this medieval fantasy series then before. I loved the new characters we met and saddened by the loss of others.

Sarah J. Maas is becoming one of my favorite authors. Can't wait to see where the series goes next.

5/5 stars, to be honest all the stars and more!!!

Happy Reading, Ashley.

Reread in February 2015
Just as amazing as the first time round. I'm excited to have everything refreshed in my mind for Heir of Fire.
