My Thoughts:
| The Book Thief is an sad tale told by none other than Death. I had originally tried reading this back in January of 2013. But some personal issues I had experienced put me off. I received this book for Christmas. I started it right away. I know some that read this was brought to tears. It is a sad story. I myself did not cry. The Book Thief did touch my heart. It is a reminder of a part of the world's history. Hitler's reign in the 1940s was a tragic time to live through no matter who you were. I would recommend this to anyone who hasn't read this yet. Even though it's sad you can't put the book down. 5/5 stars, Happy Reading,Ashley |
