"When Clary Fray heads out to the Pandemonium Club in New York City, she hardly expects to witness a murder. Much less a murder committed by three teenagers covered with odd markings. This is Clary's first meeting with the Shadowhunters, warriors dedicated to ridding the earth of demons and keeping the odd werewolves and vampires in line. It's also her first meeting with gorgeous, golden-haired Jace. Within twenty-four hours Clary is pulled into Jace's world with a vengeance, when her mother disappears and Clary herself is attacked by a demon. But why would demons be interested in an ordinary mudane like Clary? And how did she suddenly get the Sight? The Shadowhunters would like to know..."
My Thoughts:
To begin my review on City Of Bones by Cassandra Clare, I read it for the first time back in 2010. I decided to re-read as to continue on with the series. The second time around was so much better than the first, I took more in and relived scenes I had forgotten.
I loved how Jace and Clary met, and how unafraid of him she was. Clary is definitely a strong character she had her weak moments but was able to rise above them.
The ending was very shocking. I cannot wait to read the rest of this series. I recommend checking this book/series out if you haven't yet.
Hope you enjoyed my review, Ashley
