Currently Reading 2/28/2018

As of February 28th I am currently reading 2 books at the moment.

One of them is on my Nook app that I have on my smart phone:
Daughter of the Pirate King by Tricia Levenseller

I picked this up on a whim. And I am really enjoying it.I hope to finish it up in the first few days of March.














My physical book I am reading:
Beautiful Darkness by Kami Garcia and Margaret Stohl
Only a few pages in but enjoying it so far. My goal is to finish this series in March. We shall see if that happens.

February Wrap Up 2018

Hello My Bookworms, Today's post is my February Wrap Up 2018.I got through 7 books in February, two of those books were rereads for me.. I'm happy with what I was able to read this month.

1. The Game Plan/Double Dare by R.L. Mathewson 

I pick up these books when I need something to cheer me up. I laughed so much while reading these.

2. Up In Smoke by T.M. Frazier

My favorite book of the month!! This was everything I wanted from Smoke!! 5/5 stars

3. Harry Potter and The Chamber of Secrets by J.K. Rowling

I needed a Harry Potter visit from watching a Youtuber's videos going to the Harry Potter world. And as always and forever 5/5 stars

4.I Only Have Eyes For You by Bella Andre

I adore the Sullivan family. It was great reading about Sophie and Jake, :). 5/5 stars

5. The Unwelcomed Child by V.C. Andrews

This book was a crazy ride. I enjoyed it. 4/5 stars

6. Beautiful Creatures by Kami Garcia and Margaret Stohl 

When I originally read this back in 2013 I loved it and rated it 5/5 stars. Rereading it 5 years later.... it was soooo slow in parts for me. Which knocked it down to 4/5 stars. I am wanting to finish this series up hopeful in March.

7. Meet Cute:Some People Are Destined To Meet by Jennifer L. Armentrout 
This was a short story collection. To be honest I didn't read all of the stories. I know I read the first 3 and then skipped around to authors I liked. I rated this 3/5 stars

Friday Reads #2

So I'm still rereading Beautiful Creatures.... I think I might put it to the side for now. I am not wanting to read at all. This year is all about me just enjoying reading again. Not putting pressure on myself. But yet I kinda am putting pressure on myself.

What do you all do when you feel a reading slump coming on? I know some people like rereading a favorite book to help them get back into the swing of reading. I am finding myself just wanting to watch true crime shows... It is the only thing I have been watching the past week or so.

I do have plans tomorrow night with my family. We are celebrating my brother and his girlfriend's birthdays early. It will be a good time. I sometimes need time with my family. It is the best therapy in the world.

Under The Weather

Hey My Fellow Bookworms, I didn't get much reading done over the weekend. A sinus infection that I've been dealing with on and off for years decided to pop up again. So I just tried taking it easy and reading whenever I felt like it. I'm currently at 226 pages of the 561 of Beautiful Creatures. It is slowly coming back to me. I am hoping to finish this up this week. But we will see.

Besides reading, I watched alot of the ID channel on DirecTv. I go through phases of watching that channel and then not. Right now I'm addict to true crime shows.

Friday Reads #1

These posts will be up on Fridays telling of my plans for the weekend. As well as the book or books I am currently reading or hoping to get to over the weekend.

Right now for the first ever Friday Reads post. I decided I wanted to finish up The Castor Chronicles by Kami Garcia and Margaret Stohl. I am rereading book one Beautiful Creatures.I first read this book back in 2013. I'm only on page 61 out of 563.

Guess we will see how far I get or if I finish it on my Reading Wrap Up post on Monday or Tuesday.

I don't have any other plans other then the usual house cleaning and taking care of the furbabies.


So hopefully I can read a lot over the weekend.

My Review:
I did receive an ebook ARC of Up In Smoke by T.M. Frazier exchange for an honest review. I have read all seven previous novels in the King series. So I was super stoked to get my hands on this bad boy. I fell in love with Smoke and Frankie. Their heart breaking pasts and how they grow into something together was wonderful to read. I was glued from the very first word until the very end. I am sadden to have read it so fast. 

This book was everything I've come to love from T.M. Frazier. Smoke and Frankie are quite the duo. I loved reading about each of their backgrounds. Seeing Smoke bond with Bear,King, and Preppy. Made my heart all warm inside. I adored this book just as much as all of Tracey's books. Words won't ever give justice for how much I love this book!!! I am so glad to have been given an ebook ARC of Up In Smoke. Tracey thank you for another amazing male and female main characters. This was one crazy ride. 

5/5 stars... I'd give a billion if I could!!!
